This consultation tool is part of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero’s consultations on the new Home Energy Model and Home Energy Model: Future Homes Standard Assessment, and the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities’ consultation on the Future Homes Standard. The consultation tool gives you the opportunity to interact with the model and understand whether different dwelling designs are likely to comply with the proposed Future Homes Standard. The Home Energy Model represents a complete overhaul compared with SAP 10.2 and previous versions of SAP. All these significant changes are explained in the consultation documents, which we linked to above, and we would encourage you to read them. However, this consultation tool looks similar to previous versions of iSAP and its user interface is very basic. Please note that this is not representative of the user experience users will have when the final version is planned to be released in 2025. This tool has only been developed for the purpose of providing users with a basic working tool.
